A Chat about our dreams

Hello,

I bet you have questioned this too, when you have one of those weird dream that doesn’t make any sense. Actually, I don’t think any dreams make sense. Have someone ever told you: I was dreaming about buying some bread and was raining then I woke up? That is a very simple silly dream.

People generally dream about being chased by a giant snake or having a chat with Angelina Jolie and George Bush. The thing about dreams is that birds crawl and monkeys have wings.

The problem is when you go to Google search for the meaning of a dream like monkeys with wings, and then Google ask you if you meant MONKEYS AND BIRDS and you just think NO, MONKEYS WITH WINGS PLEASE but not even google is able to reach the meaning of our dreams. Get use to that.

There are many theories about the dreams, that they are messages, perceptions, or just memories of the day reallocating on our minds. The meaning of the word dream it’s a series of thoughts, images, and sensations occurring in a person’s mind during sleep. So maybe the dreams are just our own minds trying to distract us while doing the maintenence of the body, like watching tv while eating lunch.

I have noticed that the dreams are kind of a reflection of the felings we get thrue the day, so if you had a dream of being chased or locked, you probably are facing some difficult situations in real life. For me to seek fellings of calm and tranquility helps to have fun dreams. Sometimes I dream with people that I know in difficult situations and they are having problems in real life. Has this ever happened to you?

Maybe it’s just a coincidence. Something like a Déjà vu (meaning “already seen” in French) just a feeling that something supernatural is happening, but just a sensation. Are the dreams messages? Are they just thoughts?

Science knows that the brain is an organ powered by electricity that works in wave patterns. When we are awake, the waves are of higher frequency and less amplitude, When we are sleeping the waves are big and slow, so the brain goes through stages.

If you are in a state of deep sleep with the longest and slowest waves it is very difficult to wake up, some people have trouble getting out of this state and even suffer from sleep paralysis. The sensation can make people have horrible nightmares and they cannot move until the paralysis passes. I’ve heard people tell how demons come into their bedrooms and try to choke them in bed, I bet you’ve heard something like that too.

People who say they do not dream also have a good scientific explanation for this, in fact the passage too fast from the waves of sleep to the fast waves of wakefulness can cause a person to forget all dreams completely. According to science we all dream every night, so if you or someone you know didn’t dream last night, it actually means that you went from one wave to another very suddenly and forgot all the thoughts that were in your head during the dream.

And lastly, if you dream that you are falling, this is a very recurring dream, it happens because of the hypnotic jerk, a type of mismatch between the mind and the body that generates an alert to wake up and better regulate sleep. In that case be careful to not fall out of bed.
